Requirements
  • One to three years of business development or sales development experience in business-to-business technology, information technology services, or professional services.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Genuine curiosity about technical subject matter and the ability to hold a credible conversation about software testing and enterprise systems.
  • Comfort engaging with senior technical buyers, handling rejection, and asking follow-up questions.
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or the ability to learn them quickly.
  • Ability to work a defined outreach cadence across several hundred accounts while maintaining organization.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a national background check.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a target account list across oil and gas, utilities and power, financial services and insurance, and manufacturing and industrials.
  • Conduct outbound outreach through email, phone, and LinkedIn using a defined five-touch cadence and nurture steps for parked contacts.
  • Research each account before first contact and identify a genuine trigger event.
  • Use ZoomInfo intent data, LinkedIn Sales Navigator alerts, and HubSpot activity to prioritize daily calls based on signals.
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and past clients, and track former champions who have moved to new organizations.
  • Maintain regular touchpoints with partner representatives and pass opportunity signals to the owning Account Director.
  • Qualify conversations against pain, timing, authority, and fit before handing them over.
  • Brief the owning Account Director before each handed-over meeting.
  • Tailor messaging to QA and test leadership, senior technology decision makers, programme and transformation leadership, and mature automation-first QA leaders.
  • Handle common objections and guide conversations toward a next step.
  • Log call outcomes, emails, and next steps in HubSpot on the day they occur.
  • Maintain database hygiene, including deduplication and controlled contact imports.
  • Report weekly on activity, meetings booked and held, and messaging effectiveness.
  • Shadow Account Directors on live calls during the first 30 days and build the target account list.
  • Progress to four held meetings in month two, eight in month three, and twelve held meetings per month from month four, measured on a rolling three-month average.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience at a systems integrator, staffing firm, or enterprise software vendor.
  • Exposure to SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise platform environments.
