Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience with Appian solutions.
  • At least 6 years of related information technology experience.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related area.
  • An active Appian Lead Certification.
  • Strong experience with Agile delivery.
  • Strong technical implementation skills.
  • Strong database design and development skills.
  • Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing.
  • Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes.
  • Experience implementing cloud, on-premises, and hybrid platform deployments.
  • Experience with network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners.
  • Analytical and strategic foresight.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask by prioritizing and managing work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Willingness to travel 0–15% to client meetings in the Washington, DC area and Dallas, Texas.
  • Experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • Experience with authentication technologies such as SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, and LDAP.
  • Experience with web services, integrations, and middleware such as RESTful/SOAP, Mule, IIB, and Fusion.
  • Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure as a service such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with source-control systems such as Git, SVN, and CVS.
  • Experience with software troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Responsibilities
  • Provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Provide expert guidance on solution delivery and design and integrate Appian solutions into client architectures.
  • Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives.
  • Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their needs and ecosystems.
  • Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies.
  • Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
  • Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration.
  • Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations.
  • Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge-base articles for internal enablement.
  • Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
  • Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
  • Mentor, train, and enable delivery resources.
