Requirements
  • A Master's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience working with HIV/AIDS populations and mental health is required.
  • Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations applicable to community residence programs and agency policies is required.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends as assigned, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision of all program staff regarding case management to ensure quality care for residents with mental health diagnoses, HIV/AIDS, and histories of substance use.
  • Provide direct supervision of all program staff regarding case management.
  • Develop and implement individual client service plans in conjunction with clinical staff, the counseling team, and clients.
  • Ensure that client contracts reflect service-plan goals and assist counselors in developing intervention goals and activities that support service plans.
  • Coordinate the annual functional assessment review for each client and submit reports and recommendations to the Utilization Review Committee.
  • Maintain contact with other service agencies and ensure client placement for treatment and program activities, which may include volunteer job placement.
  • Coordinate with the Intake Coordinator the orientation and transition into the program for all new residents.
  • Participate in discharge planning.
  • Provide emergency and relief coverage as necessary.
  • Represent the agency with community groups and agencies as needed.
  • Prepare reports for the Assistant Deputy Director of Mental Health Services and Executive Director, including problems and proposals for changes in policies or program design.
  • Conduct supervisory meetings with all staff and maintain documentation of these meetings.
  • Perform other assigned duties, including addressing problems and proposing changes to policies or program design.
