Requirements
  • One-year clinical laboratory experience is preferred, with student experience acceptable.
  • A bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited medical technology program are preferred.
  • Alternatively, possess qualifications for high-complexity testing as evaluated against Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments '88, Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, Part 493.1489.
  • Microbiology bench reading experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform essential duties related to one or more clinical subspecialties, including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology/Immunology, based on shift.
  • Perform essential duties related to reference laboratory test processing and resulting for customer service postings.
Desired Qualifications
  • ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) Registry preferred.
