Responsibilities
  • Assist with monthly close activities, including preparation of balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
  • Support general ledger maintenance and basic journal entry preparation.
  • Help ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting.
  • Assist with payment processing, including vendor payments, coding transactions accurately, and other transactional accounting functions as needed.
  • Help maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
  • Support accounts payable and other transactional accounting functions as needed.
  • Help code transactions accurately while maintaining the proper documentation consistent with internal standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to assigned special projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and integration of new or acquired entities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on various ad hoc projects.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • Accounting experience is preferred, with candidates of varying experience levels considered.
  • Experience with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • Construction or corporate accounting experience is a plus but not required.
