Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography is preferred, or the candidate must be eligible to obtain ARRT certification.
  • At least one year of experience as an X-Ray Technician is preferred.
  • The candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • The candidate must demonstrate a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities
  • Explain procedures clearly, address patient concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging.
  • Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues.
  • Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols.
  • Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality-control standards.
  • Monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to support clinic operations.
  • Record procedures and imaging results accurately in the electronic medical record system.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography.
  • At least one year of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
