  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience with specific knowledge of front office supervisory framework or exposure to regulatory implementation
  • Good understanding of risk & controls framework across Trading & Sales businesses
  • Good understanding of securities markets, derivative products and Sales & Trading functions and ability to build relationships with sales / trading personnel
  • Prior exposure to regulatory trading obligations
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders to define and clarify obligation requirements and demonstrate comprehension of business logic
  • Ability to prioritize and meet simultaneous competing demands and a passion for a drive to deliver in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong project management/organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle a fast-paced environment; articulate influentially
  • Ability to identify and articulate complex issues to a diverse group of stakeholders, propose mitigates/solutions and escalate appropriately
  • Expert in translating and analyzing data to perform root cause / trending / impact analyses to drive decision making
  • Experience in process redesign and executing strategic concepts from inception to implementation
  • Desirable: Experience with data blending and data visualization software such as Alteryx, Tableau, QlikView, Power BI is desirable but not required
Responsibilities
  • Design pre-trade and trade business controls for new regulatory implementation and tools supporting supervision framework
  • Support systematic pre-trade and post-trade control design, workflows and processes implementation with Engineering
  • Develop subject matter expertise on business controls and support coverage to effectively investigate and remediate business control issues that arise
  • Build relationships with Sales/Trading, Engineering, Compliance, Legal and Operations globally to improve First Line control suite on an ongoing basis
  • Formulate, develop and document control requirements and logics
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives to streamline control design, workflows and processes across obligations
  • Analyze data and trends and identify enhancements to existing controls to improve control effectiveness.
  • Participate in cross-functional working groups, drive discussions of supervisory and control solutions, and achieve consensus.
  • Train impacted Sales/Traders on controls tooling

Goldman Sachs buys $14M stake in FirstCry parent Brainbees Solutions

Goldman Sachs has acquired a significant stake in Brainbees Solutions, the parent company of FirstCry, purchasing 6.8 million shares at ₹175 each through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange. The transaction, executed on 24 September 2026, is valued at approximately ₹119 crore. Goldman Sachs was previously an anchor investor in Brainbees Solutions' initial public offering, which allocated shares worth ₹1,885.80 crore to institutional investors. Meanwhile, private equity firm TPG exited its entire 2.21% stake in FirstCry through a ₹202 crore bulk deal, selling 12 million shares at ₹175.15 per share. TPG had first invested in FirstCry in 2021 and gradually reduced its holdings following the company's stock market debut in 2024. Technical analysts note that FirstCry shares remain in a downtrend, with immediate support at the ₹160–165 range.

Taktile raises $190M as AI agents outperform human analysts at SMB underwriting

Taktile, a Berlin-based decision platform for financial services, has raised $190 million in total funding, including a recent $120 million Series C led by Goldman Sachs. The company serves customers across 27 countries. Moneyview raises $38.3M from anchor investors ahead of $127.7M IPO

Digital lending platform Moneyview raised Rs 327.5 crore from anchor investors ahead of its Rs 1,092-crore initial public offering. The company allotted 9.63 crore equity shares to 20 funds at Rs 34 apiece, the upper end of the IPO price band. The anchor investors included SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Goldman Sachs, Mirae Asset, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, India Acorn Fund, Quant Mutual Fund, Amundi Funds and HDFC Life.
