Responsibilities
  • Deliver world-class narrative strategy and direction
  • Set a clear and consistent brand voice for FIGS, with responsibilities ranging from crafting style guides to editing copy and brainstorming ideas for content
  • Build an overarching approach to FIGS’ brand voice and content strategy that can be articulated across all marketing touchpoints, including advertising, social media, e-commerce, and PR
  • Partner closely with teammates to create connected concepts, from ideation through production and delivery
  • Develop, oversee and maintain narrative documentation including brand voice guides, style guides, and editorial guidelines
  • Work cross-functionally with the marketing and product teams to create engaging and informative content
  • Ensure branded content supports business goals and drives customer engagement and conversion
  • Analyze content performance and utilize data to inform future content decisions
  • Maintain a high level of editorial quality and accuracy across all channels
  • Conduct thorough research, fact-checking, and partner with subject experts, as needed, throughout content creation process
  • Lead, develop and inspire a team responsible for writing, publishing, and editorial planning
  • Oversee the day-to-day workloads of copywriters, balancing hands-on guidance with delegation
