Financial Accountant
About the job
- Two to three years of experience in financial accounting in a comparable role.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
- Fluent spoken English is required; Dutch or French is a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Maintain, process, and report general ledger transactions across multiple international entities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, deferrals, reconciliations, and lead schedules for month-end close and statutory reporting.
- Support external audit requirements and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Develop and implement more efficient financial processes, including documenting work procedures.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in Reporting and Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Business Control, and other departments.
- Support management with ad hoc reporting, analyses, and strategic finance initiatives.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and SAP S/4HANA.
- Dutch or French language skills.
