At least 5 years of engineering consulting experience supporting the oil and gas, chemical, renewable energy and power, or manufacturing industries.
Experience leading small teams is required.
Experience with scheduling and planning software is preferred.
Background assisting with project development and execution.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projects.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Must meet client-specific site requirements before deployment, which may include physical mobility on the ground and at heights; lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds; working at heights, climbing ladders and stairways, and occasionally working from platforms, scaffolding, or ladders with required fall protection; working in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment; working in confined spaces; complying with random drug testing; and meeting facial-hair safety policies.
Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling assigned aspects of projects.
Work with Project Managers, engineering disciplines, Estimators, Contractor Foremen, and General Superintendents.
Lead technical communication and coordination across engineering disciplines, clients, general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and management staff.
Develop scopes of work for construction of engineered designs.
Ensure projects follow scope and schedule.
Process vendor submittals through revision and equipment release.
Lead client and contractor interface, schedule and attend meetings, and provide written reports.
Assist with constructability planning, proposal development, and estimate development.

Job Description:
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to assist in managing maintenance & reliability and capital projects. You may be assigned projects from award to closeout or projects at various stages of development. This position may reside at one of our client sites or from our office in Lisle, IL.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
•Support the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling assigned aspects of projects.
•Work hand in hand with Project Managers, various engineering disciplines, Estimators, Contractor Foremen and General Superintendents
•Technical communication/coordination lead across all engineering disciplines, Clients, General Contractors, Vendors, Subcontractors, and Management Staff
•Developing Scopes of Work for construction of engineered designs
•Make sure projects are following scope and schedule
•Processing submittals from vendors to working through revision and equipment releasing
•Lead Client and Contractor interface, schedule/attend meetings, and provide written reports
•Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development
Minimum Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering preferred)
•Experience: 5+ years of engineering consulting experience supporting the oil & gas, chemical, renewable energy & power, and manufacturing industries
•Technical Skills: Scheduling and planning software experience preferred

Individual field assignments typically each have their own unique requirements. Prior to deployment on any field assignment, you must be able to meet all client-specific site requirements. Should you be unable or unwilling to meet assignment-specific requirements, your continued employment would then be subject to the availability of other assignments whose requirements can be met. These unique requirements may include:
•You must possess physical mobility (on the ground and at heights).
•You may be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.

•You must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing the appropriate PPE. This may include but not be limited to a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather, steel-toed work boots.
•You may be required to position yourself to work in confined spaces
•You may be required to adhere to a client’s random drug testing program prior to entering their site.
•You may be required to meet a client’s facial hair safety policy prior to entering their site.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $125,000 annually
The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, Brindley considers several factors when determining base salary that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, certifications, specific work location, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonus and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans in addition to base pay to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results.
