  • Experience managing and growing a geographically distributed team
  • Real world experience building complex distributed systems
  • Experience with applied cryptography
  • Background in the finance industry
  • Professional experience with Go/Rust/TypeScript/Solidity
  • Familiarity with optimistic & zero-knowledge tech
Responsibilities
  • Refine engineering roadmap, drive operational excellence, and create technology strategy for the team
  • Mentor and collaborate with team members to work toward their career goals
  • Drive processes to sustain a high-performance engineering team
  • Take ownership over the quality of execution, timeliness of delivery, processes, impact, and personal and professional growth for a single team
  • Work with Product Managers to define investment in products and ensure harmony between product plans and the growth and structure of the team
  • Work with other engineering managers, product management, people/recruiting, and the rest of engineering to drive team growth, retention, and hiring moving forward
