Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related university field is required.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Construction Site Manager on building-construction projects is required.
  • Deep knowledge of construction, occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations is required.
  • Proficiency with project-management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is required.
  • Leadership, team-management, and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills are required.
  • Residence in Vigo or willingness to relocate to the area is required.
  • A category B driving licence is required.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction phases, including planning, execution, and project monitoring.
  • Manage and control the project budget, identifying and managing potential deviations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the construction team, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with the construction management, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare progress reports, cost-control reports, and technical project documentation.
  • Resolve technical and operational problems arising during project execution.
  • Ensure the quality of completed work and deliver the project on schedule and in proper condition.
