Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two years of experience leading a team are required.
  • Two years of billing and documentation review experience are required; applicable college education or specialty certification may substitute for some experience.
  • Two years of experience in training, including large-group training, are required.
  • Ability to manage a large team while promoting a teamwork environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, including billing and coding.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work in team and group settings and collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations pertaining to compliance monitoring and auditing and quality improvement functions.
  • Participate in and oversee the work of others related to service encounter review and correction.
  • Research and pull applicable data related to investigations.
  • Facilitate timely response to and submission of critical incident reports.
  • Work with clinical program departments to develop efficient workflows and improve the accuracy of service encounter reporting and billing.
  • Provide direct supervision to compliance and quality improvement employees, including workload allocation, timecard approval, time-off requests, oversight of training completion, and training new employees.
  • Provide guidance, problem solving, coaching, and corrective action as appropriate.
  • Develop, conduct, participate in, and facilitate compliance- and quality-related trainings throughout Frontier Behavioral Health.
  • Assist the Director of Compliance and Quality Improvement with preparation for external audits as needed.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems following internal review processes, with assistance from clinical treatment teams when necessary.
  • Train agency staff during orientation and refresher trainings to ensure understanding of expectations and workflows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

It runs 24/7 crisis intervention and Crisis Response Services, including Involuntary Treatment Act evaluations, and operates 48 inpatient beds for Evaluation & Treatment and Stabilization. Most services are outpatient, and FBH serves Children and Youth, Adults, and Elders, with programs such as Peer Support, nursing home and school-based services, care for the homeless, a Clubhouse, and Vocational Rehabilitation/Employment services. With a staff of 700+ and more than 16,000 clients served each year, the goal is to deliver accessible, coordinated care across ages and life situations in the community.
