The Domain Data Products team is a data engineering team responsible for building and supporting the data products — the data warehouses, metrics stores and dashboards — that allow the business to gain insight from important data sources throughout the company including subscription metrics, behavioral data, and revenue. We use our data platform to ingest, transform, store and govern data from a variety of domains across the business. This data powers analytics, delivers relevant experiences to our customers, and fuels data-informed strategic decisions company-wide. This role is based in New York

Modernize and simplify data pipelines and datasets by using SQL modeling in dbt

Work with partners and analysts to design and implement data models and audits of important metrics to ensure data-correctness and freshness SLOs are met.

Automate tasks such as end-to-end testing and report generation

Build transformation pipelines with tools such as BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, FiveTran, Mode and other services in Google Cloud Platform using languages such as Python, Go & SQL

You will report to the Engineering Manager

Proficiency with SQL and some experience optimizing queries

1+ Years of experience with programming in at least one language (Go, Java or Python most preferred)

1+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle
This role may require limited on-call hours. An on-call schedule will be determined when you join, taking into account team size and other variables.
The annual base pay range for this role is between:
$88,000—$110,000 USD
