About the company

Supahealth is a healthcare tech platform that automates administrative work for behavioral health clinics by focusing on revenue cycle management (RCM). Its AI-powered agents handle tasks from patient eligibility and benefits verification across many payers to prior authorizations tailored for behavioral health. It also includes an ambient AI scribe that creates compliant clinical documentation from therapy sessions, and intelligent claims processing with specialized coding to improve acceptance rates. Denied claims are managed through automated appeals, and payments are posted and reconciled automatically. The system integrates with leading behavioral health EHRs such as SimplePractice, Netsmart, and Valant. The goal is to help clinics increase revenue, save administrative time each week, and speed up payment cycles.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • CMS launched IBH grants in 2026, expanding funded behavioral-health modernization demand.
  • Supahealth's docs updated August 2026, showing active product shipping and positioning.
  • Growing AI automation demand in behavioral health favors clinics cutting prior-authorizations and billing labor.

What critics are saying

  • Supahealth had only $5 million from Peak XV in May 2026, limiting runway.
  • A one-engineer hiring push in June 2026 signals fragile execution capacity.
  • No verified customer logos or audited metrics leave 98% claims acceptance unproven.

What makes Supa unique

  • Behavioral-health-only RCM agent stack targets clinics, IOPs, PHPs, and residential programs.
  • Integrations with Netsmart, Valant, SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, Kipu, and Qualifacts widen adoption.
  • One-day setup, zero IT, and 24/7 parallel agents promise faster deployment than incumbents.
