Join us as one of the founding financial planners of NerdWallet Advisors - a financial planning subsidiary of NerdWallet Inc. This role will work directly with clients to onboard and create their financial action plans, while also playing an important role in contributing to our advisor team growth. The Senior Financial Planner is responsible for building a long-term client relationship such that the client can return regularly to speak with this advisor about all of their financial needs and questions. 

The role will require time-management skills surrounding client calls and action plan creation. As we build and scale our technology, this person will have to be flexible to adapt to improvements and changes to the advisor platform. Providing helpful feedback will be critical in our growth. It will be important to bring your financial planning experience to provide accurate and insightful advice to clients from backgrounds ranging from new in their career/working lives all the way to retirees. 

Most importantly, this role will be flexible to meet business needs. As a startup within a larger organization, we are evolving quickly, and are looking to find a world-class financial planner who is interested in translating their experience to both a product and to a team, and are comfortable with the ambiguity that a fast growing company brings.

Your experience:

• CFP
• 4+ years financial planning or investment experience
• Has experience working with stakeholders such as product and business operations, people management experience is a plus
