Summary:

Responsible for supporting the management and strategic evolution of Enterprise Operational Services’ (EOS) project pipeline. This includes ensuring EOS adherence to numerous change governance requirements via reporting, routine management, etc. Develops and maintains expertise and resources on Truist’s internal change governance processes/requirements to guide and support EOS project managers. Looks for and implements EOS change pipeline process improvement opportunities to enhance how Operations identifies, assesses, and delivers changes aligned with Truist’s strategy. May support recurring or ad hoc business management needs of senior leadership, including preparation/enhancement of Operations’ Monthly Business Review reporting or other collaborative/strategic planning needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Serves as an individual contributor with ownership in the EOS project pipeline. Prepares for and facilitates project intake review calls.
Maintains necessary project pipeline artifacts. Develops and maintains expertise/resources on Truist’s end-to-end change governance processes to guide and support EOS project manager adherence throughout the change lifecycle.
Supports the set up/progression of new projects in necessary governance applications. May include leading the coordination of change risk assessments across risk SMEs.
Creates and delivers reporting/presentations to project managers and various stakeholder groups, including senior Operations leadership. Ideates, proposes, and implements process improvements in the Operations change intake and management pipeline to enhance change governance, project delivery, and strategic effectiveness.
As necessary, supports recurring or ad hoc business management needs of senior leadership, including preparation/enhancement of Operations’ Monthly Business Review reporting or other collaborative/strategic planning needs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent education and related training
2. 3-5 years of experience in consulting, project management or process improvement related role.
3. Advanced understanding of project management framework and demonstrated ability to implement medium scale initiatives.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to influence others and facilitate difficult conversations with leadership
6. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, devise solutions and make decisions under pressure.
7. Ability and willingness to learn and adapt as the needs of the job change
8. Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
9. Ability to travel as needed, occasionally overnight
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Five years of experience in the financial services industry or consulting
2. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
3. Advanced understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
4. Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
5. Sound working knowledge of holistic banking/investment platforms, products, services, operations, finance and systems
