About the job
- Solid all-round building maintenance skills, including painting, minor repairs, wall mounting, carpet tiling, and furniture builds.
- Experience working in a customer-facing building or facilities environment, ideally across multiple sites.
- Confident hand and power tool skills.
- Experience supporting and coordinating with contractors.
- Ability to manage tasks using systems such as FreshService.
- Clear, friendly written and verbal communication skills.
- Complete general maintenance tasks assigned through FreshService.
- Ensure buildings consistently meet visual standard audits.
- Carry out regular building walks and log anything that needs attention.
- Leave the workspace clean, tidy, and ready for the next task.
- Keep workspace general managers updated on task progress.
- Provide clear handovers when passing jobs to third-party contractors.
- Flag recurring issues to the supervisor and ask for support where needed.
- Plan the day effectively to support building priorities.
- Keep storage areas organised and COSHH compliant.
- Maintain stock levels and order accurately.
- Follow company policies and current health and safety legislation.
- Work safely and responsibly while maintaining high standards.
- Experience working in a customer-facing building or facilities environment across multiple sites.
