Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction and facilitate student learning.
- Assess student learning outcomes at the unit, course, and program levels.
- Fulfill the assigned schedule and maintain accurate student attendance and grade records.
- Maintain an instructional environment emphasizing safety, housekeeping, and equipment security.
- Ensure opportunities for student and participant evaluation.
- Participate in instructional-team activities, including planning, development, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Support students as a mentor and role model in achieving their learning and career goals.
- When applicable, develop, revise, and continually update competency-based curriculum and instructional materials that are current, consistent with employer expectations, and aligned with college documentation policies.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous post-secondary education experience, including classroom and online facilitation.
- A master's degree in the subject area.
