Requirements
  • At least three years of experience in an administrative capacity, preferably with a government agency or government contractor.
  • Understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is ideal, along with proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to work during the government client's core hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday and follow standard state and federal holiday schedules.
Responsibilities
  • Administer, monitor, and control the full range of administrative, clerical, and internal management support functions for a division or office.
  • Monitor and maintain existing internal administrative, clerical, and information systems for a division or office.
  • Ensure internal processes, procedures, and practices are established, operate efficiently, and provide the division director and associates with necessary information and support.
  • Manage correspondence, files, directives, mail, telephone calls, computer visitors, and personal visitors.
  • Process personnel-related functions, including recruitment actions, training and employee-development actions, and audit reports.
  • Order office supplies and process travel-related requests.
  • Manage and input time cards for approximately 30 to 50 associates.
  • Serve as the focal point and information resource for supervisors and employees regarding administrative procedures and requirements.
  • Provide procedural advice on administrative procedures.
  • Continuously review the effectiveness of administrative processes and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Implement and monitor approved changes to internal administrative processes and coordinate feedback from supervisors and employees.
  • Coordinate with other administrative or contract personnel on mail, directives, correspondence, telephone calls, visitors, calendars, travel arrangements, organizational files, personnel documents, time and attendance, travel and training requests, and critical correspondence for key officials.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
