Role Description
We’re looking for an exceptional Inclusion and Engagement Partner to join us in building and scaling our people initiatives. We’re a small team working earnestly to build a diverse and inclusive culture at Dropbox. You will be responsible for the long-term planning and execution of strategic inclusion and engagement initiatives for our Global Commercial Organization (GCO) and General and Administrative (G&A) Teams.
You will serve as a champion, strategic partner, and thought leader in the inclusion and employee engagement space by staying informed of best practices, benchmarks, competitors and developing relevant approaches that are aligned with Dropbox’s purpose, principles and values. You will be a crucial partner to business leaders, our human resource business partners (HRBPs) and the recruiting team. We are looking for someone who is strategic and inventive, as well as great at tactical implementation and operational excellence.
Your role and impact:
Our ideal candidate will have experience building and driving Inclusion and Engagement strategy and the demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced creative environment. Additionally, they will have the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, assess legal risk, implement inclusion and engagement best practices and partner closely with HRBPs meet high client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of a customized inclusion and engagement strategy, ensuring the integration of inclusion into key people and business processes (e.g., talent management, succession, performance management, recruitment, learning & development initiatives)
- Collaborate with business leaders to provide guidance on evolving trends in diversity, equity, and inclusion and to recommend adjustments in recruitment, development, and retention strategies accordingly
- Develop and maintain people metrics and dashboards to measure the success of initiatives
- Support leaders in executing on their own inclusion and engagement goals
- Partner closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Communications, Legal, People Analytics and other internal stakeholders to successfully implement and track programming
- Create programs and initiatives to drive engagement and retention of Women and underrepresented groups
- Partner with business leadership to build bespoke Inclusion and engagement plans that achieves maximum outcomes and results based on the needs of the teams
- Partner with communications to create a plan to build awareness and visibility to progress and programs
- Develop and maintain diversity metrics and dashboard to measure the success of initiatives
- Share people-specific updates at meetings and All Hands as applicable
- Support team operations and special projects as needed
- Leverage Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support inclusion and engagement strategy as applicable
- Serve as an advocate for all Dropboxers and the various communities that make Dropbox a great place to work
Requirements
- 10+ years of HR and and/or DEI experience working cross functionally in a corporate environment
- 5+ years of DEI People Analytics experience
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy
- Experience supporting Global Commercial Organization (GCO), General & Administrative (G&A) or Engineering teams
- Proven success influencing the senior-most levels of leadership with compelling data-driven storytelling
- Ability to work autonomously, able to influence leaders, build and implement solutions
- Internal or external consulting experience with client service orientation
- Experience in project/program management
- Excellent written and verbal communications along with presentation skills
- Strong expertise and understanding on how the DEI space is changing and the need to align with potential changes in how we recruit, develop and retain talent
- Proven ability to navigate a highly scrutinous legal landscape and employee escalations effectively
- Proficiency in people analytics metrics and reporting using tools like Qualtrics and Tableau
- Proven influencing and relationship building skills with internal and external partners and people from various backgrounds and cultures
Preferred Qualifications
- Ideally HRBP/DEI/People Analytics business partner experience
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and programmatically
- Experience working in a high tech, fast-paced, hyper-growth environment is a plus
- Willing to flex and wear multiple hats
- MA or PhD, or alternative certifications in Organizational Psychology, Economics, or Science
