Requirements
  • Ten to fifteen years in senior information technology leadership; CIO, divisional CIO, or vice president of Applications and Transformation.
  • Track record leading large business application transformations — SAP ECC and S/4HANA experience strongly preferred, CRM, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Business Intelligence.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying artificial intelligence and modern analytics at enterprise scale, particularly in the business intelligence and data space.
  • Manufacturing or industrial background with meaningful field sales organization; distribution and direct channels a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in a federated information technology model — leading divisional IT while consuming shared services.
  • Strong commercial instincts and executive presence — comfortable in front of a Chief Executive Officer, sales leadership, and the broader executive team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • High integrity and discretion with confidential information.
Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the Tarkett North America Information Technology strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligned to divisional ambition and the corporate operating model.
  • Act as senior IT business partner to the Tarkett North America Chief Executive Officer, business unit leaders, sales organization, and support functions — translate business priorities into technology decisions.
  • Lead transformation of Tarkett North America’s core business platforms: SAP ECC (including the strategic decision on migration to S/4HANA), Customer Relationship Management and field sales enablement, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Business Intelligence/analytics, and digital/web.
  • Define and govern the target application architecture for Tarkett North America.
  • Drive Artificial Intelligence adoption across Tarkett North America — with a particular focus on transforming the BI and analytics space from traditional reporting to AI-driven insight, forecasting, and decision support.
  • Drive broader innovation that creates competitive differentiation — data and analytics, customer-facing digital, and field sales productivity.
  • Build and lead the Tarkett North America applications organization — clarify ownership, develop talent, and raise accountability and engagement.
  • Prioritize the Tarkett North America Information Technology portfolio and own investment trade-offs.
  • Own Tarkett North America Information Technology budget, forecasting, and cost discipline; drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Shared Services to ensure infrastructure, security, and end user support meet Tarkett North America’s needs and that Group standards land effectively in the division.

Tarkett Increases Buy-Out Offer to €17

Tarkett Participation has increased its public buy-out offer for Tarkett shares from €16 to €17 per share, representing a premium of 40.6% and 46.1% over the 20 and 60-day average share prices, respectively, and a 25.5% premium over the last closing price before the offer on February 20, 2025. The Supervisory Board and an independent expert have endorsed the offer as fair, recommending shareholders tender their shares. The offer is subject to AMF review.
