Responsibilities
  • Assist the Equality & Opportunity team with ongoing cases.
  • Develop public-interest cases from the ground up.
  • Participate in hands-on training in legal research and writing.
  • Study the classical liberal principles that guide the organization's work.
  • Take on additional legal research projects and communications efforts.
  • Work with junior and senior attorneys to develop precedent-setting cases.
  • Participate throughout all stages of a case, from pre-litigation public records requests through discovery and appellate work, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Draft briefs, comment letters, and research memoranda.
