Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.

Nature of Work

Assignment support hours, Grade assignments, Grade midterm and final exam, Midterm and Final exam setup and facilitation, Midterm and Final exam proctoring.

Minimum qualifications

Extensive academic background in IS/IT

Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.0;             

Passed two information systems related courses with at least a grade of A-; 

High level of competence with MS Excel spreadsheets, MS Access databases, and online Wikis.

Good English communication skills.

Experience with online course delivery considered an asset

Experience with online videoconferencing environment considered an asset (ex. Microsoft Teams)

Preference will be given to candidates enrolled in Telfer programs

Short-listed candidates may be asked to complete a test and/or interview with the professor/course coordinator to qualify for this position.             

Please note, you will be required to have access to a computer, internet, microphone and webcam.

Contract hours may be reallocated among different tasks, which the professor may adjust over the course of the semester.

Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course (with the exception of official University holidays), including through the grading of the final exam and calculation of final grades by the professor.
