JOB DESCRIPTION

• Efficiently manage the Design VP’s calendar, ensuring all meetings, appointments, and deadlines are organized and prioritized effectively.
• Efficiently arrange meeting slots for designers in Design EVP’s busy schedule
• Act as a liaison between the VP and cross-functional partners (Merchandisers, Product developers, Raw Materials developers, Marketers, Digital Team, and Senior Creative Director, fostering smooth collaboration, scheduling, and timely information exchange – this includes Merchandising team, Creative, Brand Marketing. Work ahead of time to prepare documents and information to be ready for all meetings.
• Proactively anticipate needs and address issues to support the VP in meeting project deadlines and objectives effectively.
• Manage expense reports and budget tracking meticulously, ensuring accurate recording and alignment with departmental guidelines.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to evolving priorities.
• Document and take detailed notes in cross-functional and internal meetings
• Organize and track inspiration samples, vendor samples, and development samples
• Assist weekly prototype reviews by taking detailed notes to ensure all comments are captured for reference by Technical design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Design team
• Keep up with updates made to styles across seasons (color changes, drops, redesigns, style edits) throughout the design process and update corresponding tools and trackers
• Collaborate cross-functionally with assistants both on the design team and company-wide
• Support EVP of Design on daily tasks that include: Shipping, ordering lunch if needed, help print out documents, create layouts with EVP’s inspiration, build assets for special projects
• Set up vendor appointments as needed
• Prepare and meticulously edit presentations and other documentation as needed ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and discussions, cultivating trust and confidence from the VP and team members alike.
• Ideation - deep dive research online and in-person market research
• Assist in creating seasonal concept boards for presentations/milestone meetings
• Assist VP in making creative decks through creating new layouts, sourcing fonts, proofreading, and reformatting.
• Ability to build graphic and video content for mood-boards and presentations (virtual and in-person

QUALIFICATIONS

• Sketching - create and update CADs in development process
• BA degree in Fashion Design or Industrial Design preferred
• Must be proficient in Adobe suites: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Proficient in CAD skills
• Driving capabilities for samples, inspiration, and various projects that require all hands-on deck
• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word

The Base Salary Range for this position is$65,000K-70,000K per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the Company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
