Requirements
- The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- The candidate must be licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Manage care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with the hospital's philosophy and policies.
- Practice professional nursing through collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse is preferred.
- An additional life-support credential such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or other clinical specialty certifications, is preferred.
- Visual color acuity is preferred depending on the role in specific units.
