About the Job

Requirements

  • Technical or chemical basic training with further training in process engineering or plant construction, or equivalent education.
  • Professional qualification as a specialist in occupational safety and health protection (AS/GS) or as an AS/GS expert.
  • Several years of project experience in plant construction and plant safety.
  • Experience conducting and moderating key risk-analysis methods, such as HAZOP and Zurich risk analysis.
  • Fluent German and English, spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and openness to digital working methods.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the HSE contact person for project teams in investment projects, particularly infrastructure facilities.
  • Advise project leads on plant safety and environmental protection during planning, execution, and commissioning phases.
  • Moderate and conduct risk analyses for process and infrastructure facilities.
  • Review implementation of measures and compliance with safety standards during plant commissioning.
  • Thoroughly review and approve safety-related documents.
  • Collaborate actively with internal specialist organizations and external partner companies.
