Requirements
  • 2+ years of related work experience in a similar industry and/or public accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of internal controls and accounting processes
  • Knowledge and experience with medium/large ERP Systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Sage etc.)
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft applications with a focus on Excel
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across all business departments
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain day to day accounting activities and month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
  • Prepare VAT / GST / TDS returns and ensure timely payment and account reconciliation
  • Bank posting and reconciliation
  • Review and approve employee expenses; ensuing accuracy with account classification & adherence to policy
  • Ensure accurate calculation of monthly commissions, resolve queries, preparation of accruals and reconciliations
  • Record monthly intercompany transactions, reconcile to audited financial statements and propose settlements
  • Assist in compliance and annual reporting across all international entities
  • Assist with international payroll
  • Assist in AP verification relating to international tax allocations and approvals
  • Gather information and prepare schedules and documentation to support the financial statement audits in all International jurisdictions
  • Assist in special projects which may involve assisting with interdepartmental initiatives and ad hoc reports
  • Keep abreast of and apply, accounting guidance, and relative company policies, practices, and procedures
