Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four-year college or university
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Responsibilities
  • Performs diversified accounting and tax assignments under the direction of a Senior, Manager and/or Partner
  • Possesses knowledge of tax regulations in order to answer clients' questions
  • Prepares personal, corporate, partnership, and S-Corp returns of increasing complexity
  • Responds to tax notices of any sort and prepares initial drafts of letters required
  • Performs tax research projects requiring minimal expertise
  • Prepares tax accruals as may be required in preparing corporate tax returns
  • Begins to demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards
  • Meets time constraints and client deadlines
  • Participates in tax planning and projections
  • Becomes proficient in using the firm's software programs and prepares other reports, projects, and duties as may be assigned
  • Begins acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty
