  • Ability to travel extensively, approximately 50–70%.
  • Good driving record to support regional and cross-regional travel using rental or company fleet vehicles.
  • Ability to work in varied office, classroom, workshop, field, and on-site environments; stand for extended periods; use learning management systems, presentation tools, and video conferencing; adapt to changing working conditions; manage shifting priorities; and maintain professionalism while representing the organization nationally.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, plan, deliver, evaluate, and recommend high-quality training programs and strategies across the organization.
  • Deliver hands-on training for the installation, commissioning, and repair of commercial laundry appliances and associated payment systems.
  • Deliver technical, safety, procedural, and customer-service training to employees and training representatives.
  • Deliver operation, commissioning, installation, and repair training for commercial laundry appliances.
  • Deliver new product introduction training.
  • Deliver train-the-trainer courses to branch-level training representatives.
  • Cross-train other trainers to standardize teaching quality.
  • Incorporate customer experience and customer satisfaction content into technical training programs where possible.
  • Design and deliver training programs tailored to regional needs and business objectives.
  • Deliver training through in-person, virtual, webinar, academy, and train-the-trainer modalities.
  • Consult on and assist with creating interactive media assets to improve field performance.
  • Interpret original equipment manufacturer products and documentation for incorporation into WASH Pro training programs.
  • Define and monitor program-success measures, including training effectiveness and operational gaps.
  • Analyze results, identify root causes of program gaps, and recommend corrective actions and longer-term improvement priorities to business leaders.
  • Conduct audits of branch-led training sessions and recommend improvements when training goals are not achieved.
  • Evaluate trainer performance and train-the-trainer session effectiveness, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
  • Conduct field ride-alongs to assess technician skill levels, procedural adherence, and compliance with company safety practices; deliver remedial or targeted training as required.
  • Partner with business leaders and subject-matter experts to align training content with organizational goals.
  • Assess and incorporate customer-service practices into technical training programs.
  • Collaborate with content creation experts and provide subject-matter expertise for presentations, job aids, and documentation covering the organization’s original equipment manufacturer product portfolio.
  • Ensure safety practices and procedures are incorporated into all training programs.
  • Attend original equipment manufacturer training for knowledge transfer and tailor courses to employee audiences.
  • Maintain accurate training attendance, post-course feedback, and activity-tracking records.
  • Travel outside assigned regions for audits, cross-training, original equipment manufacturer training, and content development.
  • Travel extensively within assigned regions for branch upskilling and train-the-trainer courses.
  • Serve as liaison between training, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Maintain expertise in industry trends, best practices, and organizational systems.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

  • Multilingual skills may be required for regions with large multilingual workforces or where regulated by a province.
