Requirements
  • Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
  • Assist with various miscellaneous income and non-income related tax filings
  • Help coordinate responses to tax notices and communications with taxing jurisdictions
  • Liaising with third-party advisers to manage expectations and ensure all tasks are taking place according to assigned schedules
  • Assist with the implementation of internal self-service communication platforms to streamline correspondence with the Tax department
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support for the Tax Department
  • Maintain tax department budget analysis and track all vendor invoices with third party advisors
  • Manage tax return filing calendars and coordinate meetings
