Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of laser cutting machinery, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle various materials.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience with laser cutting machinery, CNC equipment, or similar roles in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Configure laser cutting machines based on work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications, including precise setup and calibration.
  • Operate laser cutting machines to create parts from metal, plastics, and other materials.
  • Monitor laser equipment performance and adjust laser power, speed, and focus to optimize results and minimize material waste.
  • Troubleshoot technical or operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and ensure they meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments before the next production phase.
  • Work with engineers, designers, and production teams to support smooth production processes and timely project completion.
  • Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate protective gear, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
