One Medical provides a membership-based primary care service that focuses on making healthcare more accessible and convenient for individuals and employers. Patients pay an annual fee to access services such as same-day appointments and 24/7 virtual care, all managed through a mobile app that allows for easy appointment booking and communication with healthcare providers. This model combines in-person and virtual care, aiming to lower healthcare costs while enhancing the patient experience. One Medical differentiates itself from competitors by targeting urban populations that prioritize technology in healthcare and by partnering with employers to offer these services as part of employee benefits. The company's goal is to expand its reach in major metropolitan areas and increase its market share in the healthcare industry.
