  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience

  • Maintain a clear view of the overall product development roadmap to ensure security is appropriately incorporated
  • Research and understand new threats and attack vectors impacting Fastly
  • Involvement in Fastly’s Secure SDLC and training initiatives
  • Influence Fastly’s security strategy by leveraging the collective strength of the security team
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with content delivery networks (CDN)
  • Contributions to the security industry (e.g. white papers and OSS projects)
  • Hands-on experience performing penetration testing for web applications
  • Working knowledge of database security, especially for MySQL
