AppDirect has acquired Toronto-based PartnerStack for an undisclosed sum, marking the San Francisco company's sixth acquisition in the past year. The deal combines PartnerStack's network of over 138,000 B2B partners with AppDirect's marketplace infrastructure to create what the companies describe as a unified platform for partner-led growth. PartnerStack, founded in 2015, provides partner relationship management software for SaaS companies and has driven over $3 billion in revenue for its customers. The company raised at least $46 million in funding, including a $35-million Series B in 2021. AppDirect serves more than 1,000 tech providers and 16 million subscribers. The company announced last August it expects to surpass $1 billion in gross annual recurring revenue within two years.
PartnerStack CEO Bryn Jones explains what the Series B funding round means for the company, its customers and partners, and the entire SaaS industry.
