Responsibilities
- Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles and remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
- Vacuum rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
- Hand dust and wipe clean office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and other horizontal surfaces.
- Remove finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
- Keep the janitor’s closet clean, neat, and orderly.
- Perform other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of custodial cleaning experience or equivalent is preferred.
