We are seeking a mid-level developer with a robust blend of technical and support skills to join our team, known as the Pixel Squad. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in JavaScript and React, expertise in automation and scripting to enhance support and development processes, and the ability to implement advanced monitoring and alert systems. You should be proficient in relational databases and SQL and have experience with at least one additional programming language. Your role will extend beyond development, requiring excellent support skills for working with both internal cross-functional peers and directly with customers as needed. A penchant for improvement and a service-oriented, positive attitude are key to thriving here. Whether you have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, we value a deep understanding of the technical and human factors influencing user satisfaction and business success.

What You’ll Do:

• Write and review code in React and general JavaScript, front-end and back-end
• Resolve technical issues raised by our customer-facing team and our automatic systems, working directly with customers as needed
• Automate and streamline support and development processes
• Enhance and manage monitoring and alert systems
• Improve software development and support workflows
• Foster team collaboration and knowledge-sharing
• Engage deeply with our business goals, customer needs, and team mission to help ideate and implement new features and product capabilities

What You’ll Bring:

• 2+ years of experience with a mix of software development and customer service
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React, including concepts such as asynchronous programming, DOM manipulation, JavaScript object model, core React principles
• HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility
• Experience in backend JavaScript development, particularly Node and Express
• Familiarity with and experience implementing good security practices for web applications and APIs
• Skills in automation and scripting
• Expertise in monitoring and alerts, with an eye towards accuracy and actionability
• Experience writing significant SQL queries
• Proven customer support excellence
• Solid track record of project delivery
• Effective collaborator in team settings and exceptional communication skills
