About the job

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales development, business development, or outbound prospecting, with a track record of meeting or exceeding meeting or pipeline targets.
  • Demonstrated comfort with high-volume outbound prospecting across multiple channels, including phone.
  • Strong written communication skills to hold a stranger's attention in four sentences and make a specific, credible case.
  • Persistence and organization to run dozens of accounts in parallel without letting follow-ups slip.
  • Hands-on experience with customer relationship management and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or equivalent tools.
  • Commercial curiosity sufficient to learn how payments work and explain them plainly to a prospect.
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving environments without an established playbook.
  • A builder mentality and strong bias toward action.
  • Enthusiasm for using artificial intelligence and automation to work smarter and rethink existing processes.
  • Comfort getting into the details and doing the work, regardless of seniority.
Responsibilities
  • Own outbound pipeline for the assigned territory and meet weekly and monthly meeting targets.
  • Run high-volume, multichannel outbound prospecting across email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels where buyers are reachable.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound interest against the ideal customer profile, and hand off meetings with enough context for the account executive to conduct the first call effectively.
  • Manage multi-touch sequences and persistent follow-up across long buying cycles.
  • Build and maintain target account lists, researching who the companies are, what they sell, how they take payments, and why Breeze is a better solution.
  • Map buying committees and identify the person who owns the payments decision.
  • Use data and account research to prioritize accounts most likely to convert.
  • Write outreach that is specific to each account and worth reading, rather than generic template messages.
  • Run structured experiments on subject lines, messaging angles, channels, and sequencing, and retain what works.
  • Share market feedback with sales and marketing to improve messaging.
  • Keep customer relationship management and outbound tools current, including activity, accounts, contacts, and opportunity stages.
  • Track funnel metrics and identify where conversion is breaking down.
  • Use artificial intelligence and automation to reduce repetitive work in research, list building, and personalization.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience prospecting into fintech, payments, ecommerce, gaming, or other high-volume digital commerce verticals.
  • Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup, especially as an early outbound hire.
  • Ability to pull and analyze outbound data independently rather than waiting for a report.
  • Experience building a sales sequence or territory from scratch.

About the company

Breeze Labs Payments offers a non-custodial wallet and merchant tools for private cryptocurrency payments. It lets users send, receive, and store digital assets on a peer-to-peer network with full control of funds, using TumbleBit to obscure transaction links. The Breeze Wallet is modular (initially Bitcoin and Stratis) and runs on a full-node architecture; a Microsoft Store POS app enables merchants to accept crypto payments. It differentiates itself by combining privacy-focused, non-custodial crypto transactions with a unified multi-asset wallet and built-in merchant acceptance, aiming to make private payments easy for both consumers and merchants.

Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Simplify postings in July-August 2026 show active hiring across growth, revops, and risk.
  • Breeze GitHub releases updated on April 16, 2026, showing surviving codebase activity.
  • Merchant acceptance plus wallet privacy targets both consumer and checkout use cases.

What critics are saying

  • Breeze.com now sells agentic payment infrastructure, not the original crypto wallet, signaling strategic drift.
  • GitHub Breeze wallet releases stopped after April 16, 2026, implying product stagnation.
  • If management abandons TumbleBit wallet work, the original product becomes an existential relic.

What makes Breeze Labs Payments unique

  • Breeze Wallet paired non-custodial control with TumbleBit privacy and merchant POS support.
  • Full-node architecture and modular Bitcoin-Stratis support separated Breeze from hosted wallets.
  • 2026 hiring pages still market private payments plus merchant tools, preserving that stack.
