Requirements
- Previous experience in agronomy work.
- Technical knowledge of agronomy and cropping systems.
- Knowledge of crop planning systems, agricultural chemistry, and fertilisers.
- Excellent proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
- Good level of English and Spanish; some French is preferred.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly, push through barriers, work autonomously, and work proactively rather than reactively.
- A rigorous, precise, open-minded, innovative, personable, and methodical approach.
Responsibilities
- Build overall cropping programmes for Tenderstem and Bimi across Southern Europe and North Africa.
- Advise licensees and growers on planning-based decisions using localised growing experience to ensure sufficient product is programmed for local sales channels and exported crop volumes.
- Maintain team visibility of up-to-date availability, manage surplus volumes effectively, and provide timely warnings of likely volume shortfalls.
- Develop and support new growers across the regions by providing technical agronomy advice for crop management.
- Continue developing the reporting system used by growers to report produce sales and plan crop programming.
- Manage the flow of seeds into the grower base in liaison with key internal sales colleagues.
- Continuously improve the overall cropping plan and forecasting tool.
- Trial innovative agronomy ideas to increase crop productivity on farms.
