About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in a client-facing role across business development, partnerships, sales, account management, or professional services; experience ideally includes technology or B2B SaaS, external stakeholder relationships, navigating multiple decision-makers, and proactively developing relationships.
  • Comfort with high-volume outreach and relationship-building, including phone outreach.
  • Organization and attention to detail for accurate tracking across a large, active portfolio of firms.
  • Ability to learn and execute a structured playbook and suggest improvements.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for flagship industry events.
  • Fluency in navigating AI tools and incorporating them into daily workflows for research, problem-solving, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own outreach to a defined list of regional and mid-sized CPA firms, building relationships with practice leads, advisory partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Run a repeatable, high-volume outreach cadence using calls, emails, and introductory meetings to move firms from first conversation to active, referral-sending partners.
  • Own revenue generation across the partner portfolio, with targets for sourced pipeline and closed revenue.
  • Deepen relationships within partner firms by expanding beyond a single champion and building multi-threaded relationships across practices, offices, and leadership teams.
  • Educate partner contacts on Rillet and its ideal client profile so they can identify, position, and send qualified opportunities.
  • Keep pipeline data current in partner tracking systems, including contacts touched, relationship stage, referrals sent, pipeline generated, and deals closed.
  • Support newly activated partners with onboarding and enablement, including introductory materials, FAQs, sales enablement, and warm handoffs.
  • Identify opportunities to further activate high-potential partners through deeper enablement, joint go-to-market initiatives, events, and account mapping.
  • Flag firms showing outsized traction to the broader partnerships team so the priority list remains focused on high-potential relationships.
  • Represent Rillet at select industry events, building relationships and expanding its presence across the accounting community.

Desired Qualifications

  • Outbound business development representative, sales development representative, or account executive experience is a strong plus.
  • Interest in accounting, finance, or B2B SaaS is a plus.
