Requirements
  • Complete a minimum of two years of education in a related field.
  • Know, enforce, and follow all organizational safety guidelines.
  • Maintain the safety and security of children.
  • Teach, lead, and manage groups of children with varied ages and skill levels.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills including teamwork, motivation, flexibility, patience, and empathy.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills including time management, communication, and goal setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent character, integrity, and personal accountability.
  • Have knowledge of iPad and Apple technologies.
  • Have the stamina to work daily with children in the K-12 age range on a part-time basis.
  • Be comfortable working on your feet for long hours, sitting on the floor, picking items up from the floor, and hauling equipment between locations.
  • Obtain CPR certification; certification is provided by the University if not already held upon hire.
  • Complete the required background check and fingerprinting.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate different types of technology- and art-related curriculum.
  • Ensure children understand rules, routines, and daily schedules.
  • Follow proper procedures for signing children in and out.
  • Establish a relationship with each child and understand their current level of understanding and productivity.
  • Consider the needs of all children and treat each child with respect and dignity.
  • Interact with parents to establish rapport and explain how each child is performing.
  • Assist with daily maintenance of the facility, equipment, and supplies inventory.
  • Maintain positive staff, colleague, and peer relations.
  • Problem-solve situations and seek assistance when necessary.
  • Communicate regularly with the supervisor regarding concerns, updates, and challenges.
  • Assist with routine parent or guardian communications and updates.
  • Remain current on emergency procedures and facility resources.
  • Assist with researching, developing, implementing, and revising program curriculum as needed.
  • Participate in extensive training.
  • Attend scheduled team meetings.
  • Maintain timely correspondence with the team and management.
  • Adhere to Full Sail Labs and Full Sail University policies and procedures.
  • Attend work consistently and wear the required uniform.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous work with children is preferred but not required.
  • Art-technology education is preferred.
