Spring Health provides personalized mental health solutions for employers and health plans. Its platform uses Precision Mental Healthcare to identify the most suitable support for each employee, offering a spectrum of services from digital tools and meditation exercises to therapy and medication. After a brief assessment, users receive a personalized care plan and recommended providers, with options to schedule appointments or access digital exercises. A Care Navigator offers clinical guidance and emotional support throughout the journey. The company monetizes by charging employers and health plans for platform access and services. Its differentiator is the data-driven, personalized care matching and integrated care navigation within a single platform, targeted at organizational buyers rather than individual consumers. The goal is to improve employee mental health outcomes and reduce organizational costs by delivering tailored, scalable mental health care.

Spring Health joins the Alight Partner Network to close the gap between mental health benefits and mental health care, reaching more than 30 million people. DEERFIELD, Ill.-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Alight, Inc. (NYSE: ALIT), a leading benefits administration provider of health, wealth and leave solutions, today announced a strategic partnership to bring mental health support into the Alight Partner Network with Spring Health, a global mental health company built on one AI-native platform. The Alight Partner Network offers a curated ecosystem of solutions designed to help employers deliver a more connected and engaging employee experience. By integrating Spring Health into the Alight Worklife(R) platform, which generates more than 210 million annual interactions across health, wealth and leave programs, the collaboration is designed to surface mental health support earlier, at the moments employees need it most. Through Spring Health, employees can access the full spectrum of mental health support - from self-guided tools and coaching to therapy, medication management, and crisis care - accessible via the benefits platform they already use. For employers, the integration closes the gap between delivering a benefit and their employees actually using it, surfacing care during open enrollment, leave, and major life changes. "Benefits only work when people can find and use them," said Adam Chekroud, co-founder and President of Spring Health. "By bringing Spring Health into Alight Worklife, we can meet employees in the benefits experience they already trust and make it easier to take the next step toward care. That matters because access to effective support can change outcomes: research published in JAMA Network Open found Spring Health members recover 5.9 weeks faster than the leading competitor." "Employers are under increasing pressure to deliver benefits experiences that are both cost-effective and genuinely supportive of their people," said Jessica Borchik, SVP, Partner Strategy and Sales at Alight. "Spring Health joining the Alight Partner Network reflects our joint focus on simplifying complexity and helping organizations make smarter decisions for mental health support so employees can access the care and support they need with confidence." About Alight Solutions Alight is a leading benefits administration provider of health, wealth, leave and point solutions for many of the world's largest organizations and over 30 million people. Through the administration of employee benefits, Alight helps clients gain a benefits advantage while building a healthy and financially secure workforce by unifying the benefits ecosystem across health, wealth, wellbeing, absence management and navigation. About Spring Health Spring Health is a global mental health company built on one AI-native platform so care follows individuals across every job, move, health plan, and life stage. Independently validated by JAMA Network Open and the Validation Institute, with 92% of members reliably improved or recovered from depression or anxiety and employers seeing a 52% reduction in total mental health claims costs, Spring Health provides personalized lifelong mental health support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. More than 170 million people worldwide have access to Spring Health, which is trusted by leading employers, health plans, and channel partners, including Highmark, Target, The Coca-Cola Company, BlackRock, Microsoft, Pfizer, and Wawa.
The California Department of Human Resources has selected Spring Health to provide mental health support to more than 245,000 state employees across 153 departments through its Whole You programme. The employee assistance programme will offer personalised mental health care to staff and their families, with first responders receiving the most extensive support from trauma-informed providers. First responders develop PTSD at up to ten times the rate of the general population, according to a 2025 meta-analysis. Spring Health's research shows 92% of members improve or recover from depression or anxiety, with appointments available in less than two days on average. The programme provides confidential support for care, crisis needs and wellbeing challenges. Support staff within CalFire, California Highway Patrol and the Department of Corrections receive elevated care levels.
Spring Health has launched a Neurodiversity Program providing specialised care for neurodivergent children and their caregivers, with no formal diagnosis required to begin. The programme addresses a significant burden: caregivers spend over 10 hours weekly coordinating care, costing more than $18,000 annually in lost earnings. The service offers care navigation, multidisciplinary support for children, caregiver coaching and neuropsychological assessments, powered by Guide, Spring Health's AI-led platform designed to reduce administrative burden. The programme provides access to in-network care whilst supporting working parents. Spring Health, which serves over 170 million people globally through employers and health plans, reports 92% of members show improvement or recovery from depression or anxiety. The Neurodiversity Program is now available to Spring Health customers.
Spring Health implements VERA-MH safety framework for new AI experience. Published. May 19, 2026 Spring Health has debuted Guide, an AI-led platform designed to maintain clinical continuity throughout a patient's mental health journey. The experience aims to solve the "continuity problem" where progress is often lost between changing clinicians or sessions. Built on a unified clinical platform, the tool tracks a member's full mental health arc to ensure context persists as care evolves. CEO April Koh stated that Guide "holds the full arc of a person's mental health," moving away from treating care as a series of one-off events. A recent study by the company indicates that individuals using Guide experienced faster improvement in depression and anxiety symptoms. Specifically, those with the highest needs saw up to 25% greater symptom improvement compared to standard care models. The system is designed to support members between therapy sessions rather than replacing human providers. According to Chief Product Officer Gijo Mathew, the AI provides a "continuous thread" through a person's journey that human systems have historically struggled to maintain. To address safety concerns, Spring Health developed the VERA-MH (Validated Evaluation and Risk Assessment for Mental Health) framework. Every AI capability is scored against this safety architecture to identify and mitigate potential failure modes before deployment. All interactions are coordinated with human providers and subject to clinical oversight within the company's existing network.
Spring Health has completed its acquisition of Alma, creating what it calls the first lifelong mental health platform. The combination addresses care fragmentation by ensuring continuity when individuals change jobs, age off plans or require different levels of care. Together, the companies now support over 170 million lives globally across employers and health plans. Spring Health's AI-native platform, which has demonstrated 92% member clinical improvement and 52% reduction in mental health claims costs for employers, will integrate with Alma's provider network and payer relationships. Spring Health CEO April Koh and President Dr Adam Chekroud will lead the combined organisation, whilst Alma founder Dr Harry Ritter continues as CEO of Alma within Spring Health. The integration will focus on expanding access for higher acuity needs and reducing administrative burdens for providers.
