Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required, with two to ten years of relevant experience.
  • An understanding of object-oriented software development using a language such as C++, Java, C#, or Python is required.
  • Experience with software design patterns and knowledge of which patterns to apply in different scenarios is required.
  • A working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis, is required.
  • Experience using Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems for development is required.
  • Practical experience with container-based technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, is required.
  • Web development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of RESTful web services, including GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE HTTP operations, is required.
  • Strong oral communication skills are required to engage effectively across contract or project teams.
  • Strong written communication skills are required to produce clear, concise, and actionable documentation, including recommendations, technical assessments, and integration plans.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern development practices and frameworks.
  • Create and manage containerization workflows implementing DevSecOps principles and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Plan and execute deployments to Kubernetes clusters, ensuring system stability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Communicate software requirements to relevant stakeholders daily while supporting the mission environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • An understanding of internet protocols such as TCP, UDP, and HTTP.
  • Familiarity with symmetric and asymmetric cryptography and key or certificate generation tools such as OpenSSL.
  • Working knowledge of publish-and-subscribe message queues such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience designing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, or related build frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and software debugging skills.
  • Technical writing experience creating and maintaining comprehensive software documentation.
  • Knowledge of Go or Rust.
