  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in turbomachinery analysis
  • Creation and maintenance of 3D models of compressor geometry.
  • Exposure to testing of engines, or powertrain components.
  • Proven expertise in the aerodynamics and thermodynamics of turbomachinery.
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
Responsibilities
  • Own critical turbomachinery components and be responsible for every aspect of the turbomachinery analysis.
  • Assist in research and development regarding analysis of aircraft engines, engine components, advanced combustion and fuel injection systems.
  • Conduct aerodynamic and thermodynamic analysis to evaluate new and existing designs.
  • Ensure that turbomachinery solutions are developed to meet challenging manufacturing goals, minimum cost/weight and on an aggressive schedule.
  • Lead projects from conception through to testing and validation.
