About the job
- Five years of carpentry experience is preferred.
- First Aid Level One, Fall Protection, and WHMIS certificates are required.
- A good command of the English language is required.
- Candidates must be willing to undertake selective project travel when required.
- Candidates must be reliable, self-motivated, disciplined, and take ownership of their work.
- Read blueprints and shop drawings.
- Lay out and build templates and jigs using hand, shop, and air tools.
- Apply best practices in fabrication.
- Perform rough and finish carpentry within prescribed tolerances through to coating application.
- Rig and load structures for site installation.
- Maintain quality control and safety from start to finish.
- Experience with wood processing is preferred.
