Requirements
  • Own transportation required to travel to affiliated research and clinical sites.
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check must be successfully completed.
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History must be successfully completed.
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Background Check must be successfully completed.
Responsibilities
  • Apply polysomnography measures (electroencephalography, blood oxygenation, heart rate, respiration) to research participants.
  • Monitor polysomnography measures to ensure data quality and participant safety.
  • Maintain protocol integrity of the sleep studies.
  • Communicate effectively with the research team.
  • Travel to Caron Foundation at Wernersville, Pennsylvania as part of duties.
  • Work hours and scheduling constraints including evenings and nights, typically between 8 pm and 12 midnight, with four hours per patient, and travel between affiliated research and clinical sites.
Desired Qualifications
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with one to two years of experience in performing Polysomnograms is preferred.
  • Sleep technologists without RPSGT credentialing with two years of experience are encouraged to apply.
