Blockchain.com joins TP ICAP's Fusion Digital Assets as liquidity partner in matched principal model

Blockchain.com has joined TP ICAP's Fusion Digital Assets as a liquidity partner under the venue's new matched principal trading model. The partnership adds institutional liquidity across Bitcoin, Ether and XRP, enhancing market depth for participants. The matched principal framework enables traders to transact without prefunding whilst facing TP ICAP as an investment-grade intermediary, improving capital efficiency and reducing operational complexity. Blockchain.com is among the first firms to trade through this model. Fusion Digital Assets is expanding its tradable universe to include stablecoins such as USDC, SOL, additional fiat pairs, and future support for tokenised real-world assets. The venue surpassed $1 billion in monthly trading volume in 2025. Wealthy execs from California and New York relocate to Dallas, bringing firms and jobs

Blockchain.com co-CEO Lane Kasselman relocated from San Francisco to Dallas after a data-driven analysis comparing cities based on schools, housing, food quality and airport access. Dallas scored highest. Two years later, Blockchain.com moved its US headquarters from Miami to Dallas, hiring over two dozen Texas employees. Since 2020, Dallas has attracted wealthy executives from coastal states, including Fortress Investment Group co-CEO Drew McKnight, DTX Ventures general partner John Redgrave and Fisher Investments CEO Damian Ornani. Most came from California, drawn by lower taxes, business-friendly regulations and quality of life factors. RBC private wealth consultant Dean Deutz estimates fewer than 5 percent of wealthy coastal residents are relocating, though this still significantly impacts state tax revenues.
