Requirements
  • Experience with object-oriented and web programming using SQL, Java, JavaScript, VBScript, VB.NET, ASP, ASP.NET, C languages, HTML, XML, InstallShield, WiseScript, and/or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2012, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 7.
  • Experience using Systems Management Software and System Center Configuration Manager, including SCCM 2007 and Configuration Manager 2012.
  • Experience building, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting software distribution infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Cisco networking, server administration, microcomputer maintenance and troubleshooting, CompTIA A+, technical writing, Active Directory, virtual technology, application development, software migration, infrastructure, and software distribution.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to multiple areas in the enterprise infrastructure environment related to Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager and efficient patching for SCCM client health.
  • Analyze the feasibility and completeness of the As-Is model, To-Be model, and implementation strategy proposed by the senior subject matter expert.
  • Design a virtual lab environment for Configuration Manager 2012 to support SCCM 2007.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance and function as an on-site task manager overseeing operations related to Configuration Manager 2007 and 2012.
  • Provide operational support for SCCM 2007 R3 and Configuration Manager 2012 clients.
  • Provide procedural documentation for monitoring and troubleshooting client operations for laptops, servers, and workstations.
  • Work independently or as the leader of a team as required.
  • Convey complex technical and business issues clearly and effectively to management.
  • Provide expert, independent support and leadership by coordinating, producing, or reviewing processes and documentation for complex systems design, architecture, feasibility studies, and system specifications.
  • Apply technology practices to large-scale, enterprise-wide projects.

OBXtek appoints new President and CEO. OBXtek today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has appointed Aaron Drabkin as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 3, 2026. Mr. Drabkin succeeds Dale Spencer in this role upon his retirement. "On behalf of the Board and entire OBXtek team, we thank Dale for his excellent leadership and dedication to OBXtek. We wish him the best in his retirement. At the same time, we're excited to welcome Aaron in his new role" said Ed Jesson, Chairman of the Board. OBXtek awarded subcontract under MRATS program. OBXtek today announced that the Company was awarded a role as a subcontractor to Advanced Concepts Enterprises, Inc. (ACEs) under the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Mission Readiness and Training Support Services (MRATS) contract. "This win is in line with our goal of growing our footprint within the AFSOC community. We're proud support our warfighters and help ensure mission readiness" said Dale Spencer, President and CEO. AFSOC provides Air Force special operations forces for worldwide deployment and assignment to regional unified commands. The command's Special Operations Forces (SOF) are composed of highly trained, rapidly deployable Airmen, conducting global special operations missions ranging from precision application of firepower to infiltration, exfiltration, resupply and refueling of SOF operational elements. Under this award, OBXtek will provide mission readiness and training support services at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom, directly contributing to AFSOC's operational training and readiness objectives. Its support will include: * Operations Training Scheduling and Planning - coordinating aircrew, simulator, academic, and flight training events using AFSOC scheduling systems; * Standardization and Evaluation (Stan/Eval) Support - assisting with flight evaluation programs, documentation, and readiness tracking; and * Aviation Operations Support - ensuring accurate scheduling, compliance with governing instructions, and continuity of training operations.
