Requirements
  • Current IAM Level II qualification to satisfy the Department of Defense 8570 IAT requirement.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Extensive experience designing, deploying, securing, maintaining, and upgrading highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters.
  • Proficiency with Docker and containerization best practices, and advanced knowledge of Kubernetes primitives including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Persistent Volumes, and Namespaces.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, including CNI plugins such as Calico or Cilium, network policies, service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd, and DNS.
  • Expertise securing Kubernetes environments through RBAC, Pod Security Policies or Admission Controllers, vulnerability scanning, secret management, and network security.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex Kubernetes performance issues, optimize resource utilization, and tune clusters.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across the Kubernetes stack, from infrastructure to application-level problems.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Tekton, or Argo Workflows.
  • Ability to design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for deploying containerized applications to Kubernetes, following GitOps practices.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Helm charts and Kustomize for Kubernetes application packaging and deployment.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Practical experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as Argo CD.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for Kubernetes clusters and applications.
  • Familiarity with centralized logging solutions and distributed tracing.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps culture, Site Reliability Engineering principles, and the you-build-it-you-run-it model.
  • Expertise with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing in platform and pipeline development.
  • Strong Linux system administration background, including networking, file systems, process management, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and load balancing.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build, deploy, and secure infrastructure.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize underlying infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence workloads.
  • Design, deploy, secure, maintain, and upgrade highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for deploying containerized applications to Kubernetes.
  • Provision and manage infrastructure declaratively using infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Automate tasks, create custom tooling, and integrate systems through scripting.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for Kubernetes clusters and applications.
  • Use centralized logging and distributed tracing to support debugging and performance analysis.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance and troubleshooting issues across platform infrastructure and applications.
