Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Three to seven years of manufacturing engineering or production engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting automated, high-volume manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex production data.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • A commitment to quality and operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis methods including 8D, A3, 5 Why, and Fishbone.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Understanding of statistical process concepts.
  • Knowledge of TRC and MRC.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing key performance indicators including OEE, FPY, scrap, technical and organizational downtime, and cycle time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Indefinite U.S. work authorization is required; future sponsorship for work authorization is not available.
Responsibilities
  • Own the daily technical performance of assigned production lines.
  • Monitor machine status, production flow, and key performance metrics.
  • Identify production risks and proactively communicate impacts to Operations.
  • Lead structured escalation of safety, quality, delivery, and equipment issues.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources including Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and the Process Group.
  • Ensure production issues are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Drive rapid problem solving to restore production to standard conditions.
  • Verify that corrective actions achieve expected performance.
  • Escalate recurring or systemic issues for long-term investigation.
  • Maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and engineering standards.
  • Support adherence to standardized work across the production line.
  • Identify opportunities to improve standard work based on daily observations.
  • Monitor production performance trends and identify emerging risks.
  • Support production planning through cycle time, capacity, and equipment performance analysis.
  • Assist with launch activities and production readiness.
  • Coordinate rapid problem resolution, maintain production standards, and enable stable daily performance.
  • Interact with Operators, Operational Technicians, Special Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, and Leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with MES, ERP, or production monitoring systems.
  • Databricks experience.
  • Query language experience.
